Prospective authors should adhere to these good authorship practices and principles, as outlined by our publisher Springer Nature: https://www.springer.com/journal/41649/submission-guidelines#Instructions%20for%20Authors_Authorship%20principles.
All authors need to be mentioned in the order as agreed among the co-authors, and please make sure the order as submitted in the online submission platform ‘Editorial Manager’ is identical to the order on the cover page. Note that the corresponding author does not have to be the first author.
The authorship must be noted on the cover page, and not on the manuscript itself as our peer review process is double-blind.
Open Access Agreements
Since 2015, institutions and associations in a growing number of countries have signed Open Access Agreements with Springer Nature: https://www.springernature.com/gp/open-research/institutional-agreements. These agreements are sometimes also referred to as ‘Read and Publish’ agreements, or ‘Springer Compact’ agreements. If the corresponding author is affiliated with a participating institution, you can publish ‘Open Access’ in Asian Bioethics Review, without having to pay an article processing charge (APC).
Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
The ethical responsibilities of authors are outlined in this section of the submission guidelines of Springer Nature: https://www.springer.com/journal/41649/submission-guidelines#Instructions%20for%20Authors_Ethical%20Responsibilities%20of%20Authors
